DREAMWOOD IS WHERE YOU BELONG
CAMP FACILITIES
Summer 2026 will take place at our beautiful Highland Grove location with its gorgeous waterfront, newly renovated cabins with air conditioning, new activities, and some exciting overall improvements we can't wait for campers to see and experience. The camp is located on Big Harding Lake - a quiet non-motorized lake - which is the perfect backdrop for our campers to swim, play, canoe, kayak, paddleboard, and much more. The property is surrounded by lots of hiking trails and crown land providing the ultimate private getaway for campers & staff.
At Camp Dreamwood it doesn't matter where we are - as long as we are together.
Camp Facilites

At Camp Dreamwood we pride ourselves on our family environment. Our small camp size & staff to camper ratio help us get to know every camper. Many of our campers come to camp not knowing anyone, but leave as part of a new camp family. Our counsellors quickly become big brothers and sisters to our campers, creating a trusting, caring, and inclusive environment.
Camper Cabins
Campers stay in beautiful cabins that have been newly renovated with wood bunk beds and comfortable mattresses.
-
Cabins are located in a cabin circle in close proximity to the dining hall and all activities
-
Cabins are equipped with smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, air conditioning, windows, cubbies for storage and more
-
Cabins accommodate 5 - 12 campers depending on age
-
Trained counsellors will stay in the cabin with campers, with a minimum of two staff in every cabin
-
Each cabin is located beside the washroom house with new bathrooms and showers

Our amazing staff is what makes Camp Dreamwood so unique. Staff work tirelessly to create a safe and fun summer camp experience. They will make your child want to return year after year. We pride ourselves on our staff-to-camper ratio being 1:3. Each year we hire the best possible staff, many of whom attended Camp Dreamwood as campers or LITs themselves. Our summer staff receive extensive training before camp to ensure your campers are in the best possible hands.

"Most of my best memories were made at summer camp. It was an opportunity to learn new things, work as a part of a team and make everlasting friendships. When we created Dreamwood we created it with your camper in mind. It is a place where everyone belongs; where you are welcome to come as you are. Camp is an exciting and life-changing experience and I can't wait to welcome new campers into our family."
"My son has not stopped talking about the wonderful leaders and he tells me that he will become a Camp Counsellor at Dreamwood once he is old enough!"

Inclusion is one of the most important values at Camp Dreamwood. At Camp Dreamwood age, ability, race, religion, background, family income and grades; none of it matters. What matters at camp is the size of your heart, the volume of your voice as you cheer each other on and how wide you outstretch your hands to embrace your newfound family. Camp is a place for kids where they are loved and accepted no matter what. To find out more about our inclusion model at Dreamwood please click here.
