Friar David Suckling Memorial Award
A proud supporter of Camp Dreamwood since its inception, Friar David Suckling has contributed immeasurably to life at Dreamwood. Through his passion and lifelong dedication to serving his community, Friar David had an immense influence on those in his life. We have chosen to dedicate an award in his honour to recognize an individual who fosters goodwill in their community, takes initiative in the service of others, and faces personal challenges with a strong mind and heart. The individual who receives this award dedicates themselves to displaying qualities of leadership, community involvement and selflessness during their time at camp.

Camper & Parents Choice Award
The Camper and Parent’s Choice is awarded to one female and one male Camp Dreamwood staff member. These awards are chosen based on the votes of campers and their parents.
This award recognizes a staff member that goes above and beyond their role at camp. As a counselor, their actions have contributed to a memorable experience for campers that lasts beyond a week of summer camp. This staff member embodies the values of Camp Dreamwood; leadership, kindness, inclusivity and friendship.
What an amazing honour it was to go through the nominations for our first ever Camper and Parents Choice award. What amazed us the most is how EVERY single one of our staff members were nominated at least twice. If we could, every single one of our staff would receive an award. This experience has only gone to show how incredible our Dream Team really is.

Dream Team Staff Award
This award is a special honour as it is one chosen directly by all of the Dreamwood staff members. This award recognizes a member of the Dream Team who pushes themselves beyond the limits of their role. They provide an unbelievable camp experience not only for campers but staff as well. They are loyal to the successful operation of Camp Dreamwood and are held at the highest regard by their peers. The recipient truly embodies the core values we aim to bring our in each of our camp staff; family, inclusion and dedication.
